Hey,
Bought a RX8 used and put it into my Losi 4X4. Raced it at the last trophy race and my motor wire became disconnected...I soldered it back on and ran on the outdoor track and it ran fine. I picked up tekin hotwire and plugged it in and it kept disconnecting so I looked at the wires that plug into the receiver and the ground wire was broken. I put a new plug in and tried it again and it stayed connect to the hot wire but now when I plug it into a battery to run it, it will not turn on. The receiver is getting power but no lights will come up on the RX8 at all.
I tried a new battery
the guy I bought the Tekin from said he sent it back and got it refurbished.
I called tekin and asked what was wrong and they told me to send it in but he said it could be up to $95 which I don't have that laying around right now. Was just curious if anybody has had this problem and knows how to fix it or not.
