*** 2012 JConcepts Fall Indoor Nationals***
October 5-7

Let's get this thing rolling!!!
I set up the RCSignup for the event. http://tracks.rcsignup.com/events/displayEvent.cfm?ID=2758 Don't wait to sign up, last year we hit 296 and this year I set the limit at 300. There is a huge list of Pro's coming in this year and again there will be a pile of prizes and lots of great racing action! I can't wait!

We will have sign ups in the shop, but it is preffered that you sign up online. You don't need to pay online, but it makes it significantly easier for us to transfer your information from RCSignup and it increases information accuracy.

It is super easy to create an account on RCSignup and is FREE!

As far as a novice class, we are planning to run only the classes list, however if we get 10 or more novice entries we will have a class. Otherwise you will be placed in the vehicle appropriate class.

Could you maybe explain the classes?

There's 1:10 Stock Truck, 1:10 Open Racing Truck, and Pro 2 Stock SCT. What about 4wd SCT? Also, what's the difference between Pro2 and Pro4? (Is there a Pro3??)

1/10 stock truck is (I believe) a stadium truck running a 17.5, open truck would be the same only with any motor, pro 2 stock SCT would be the upper level drivers in an open 2wd short course race

Pro4 is the same except with 4wd trucks and that would be your 4wd SCT class I believe.....

My guess was 1:10 Stock Truck = 17.5 SCT, Racing Truck = stadium truck, and PRO2 Stock SCT = sponsored SC drivers.

I'm just used to seeing classes like 17.5 SCT, Mod SCT, and 4wd SCT. The classes on the flyer don't quite line up that way.

Stock classes have to make sure your speed control is no timing (blinky mode).

Surely we can find some vehicle we can convert to 3-wheel drive to make a PRO3 class!!

Chris there is a PRO3. Its for the few of us who rip a tire off and still continue the race.

We still have 7+ weeks to go until the Fall Nats and we already have 60 entries on RCSignup and that doesn't include any of the confirmed Pros. Add them in at likely 2 - 3 classes each and we're already pushing 80 entries. Don't be left out!

It's easy to get signed up, go to Racer Registration on RCSignup and create a profile. Then go to the 2012 JConcepts Fall Indoor Nationals event link and put in your classes. It's that easy!

Not even remotely close to being true. What big events have you attended outside of RCE?

Just curious if Todd is allowing JC event participants to club race Thursday or if he is limiting it to only non-JC Event participants?

Asking on behalf of a number of guys that want to know if they should take time off of work to get there Thursday night versus Friday morning.

I seem to recall the track being pretty wet and messy on the Thursday following most of the past few revamps. I think the track surface has been considerably different by the time official race practice started. Im sure there's some advantage, but I'm not sure how much.

Racing on the track a few days before helps greatly in finding out if any minor adjustments to track are needed and helps stabilize the track for the race.

I've been away and I just checked the RCSignup page and we are now over 280 racers entered for the event! With only 2 weeks remaining before the race you'll want to be on the list. After talking with Jason about the possibility of no shows from the pre-entries we plan on allowing for a 10% overage above the 300 limit. Get signed up asap, you will not want to miss out on this one!

For those who have not taken a look at RCSignup for the JConcepts Fall Nats we are already over the 300 entry limit. I did increase the online limit to 330 to allow for a 10% possible no show situation. If you haven't gotten signed up, do it right away! I don't want to turn any locals away.

It would also be helpful and possibly smart if you are attending to bring a table, chair, and extension cord. We have roughly 125 permanent pit spots, and we will be covering the carpet track area for additional space but we have a limited number of extra tables and chairs.

Thursday Doors open at 12 noon Open practice until 6:30pm Racing at 7pm

Friday Doors open at 10am Open Practice 10am-9pm Controlled Practice as needed

Saturday Doors open at 8am Controlled Practice 8am - 9:30am Drivers meeting 9:45am Racing starts at 10am through 2 Qualifiers
