My best last Thursday was a 19.5, but there's definitely more to be had, I've only driven the thing for about an hour on a stock setup and dirty tires.

Im going to Justin. Souc and I have been talking about that for a while now. I am pretty sure his 44 is ready to go now too. So it looks like Im going to park the SC truck for a while. I was only asking about the lap times for curiosity.

And I just got a 501x, 4wd may have 2 good heats now, those 44's don't stand a chance.

Perhaps it's time to start a 4wd buggy thread, and leave this one to the people interested in the 4wd SC trucks.

It goes good, right out of the box. I have let a ton of guys at the track try mine, and waiting for them to pipe in. It needs a drag brake for sure, but I think with the right motor, ecs and battery... Its going to fly. It does handle surprisingly well. It has lots of steering. (I put a new servo in it anyway) On a tight track like our layout now, its hard to open it up but it seems to do just fine. In practice with a full stand it can bull past anything minus an 8th scale. Over all for the $, there is nothing that compares.

I drove Scott's Slash last night and liked it, the Ofna and the Traxxas seem to be two totally different things, with different driving styles required. The Traxxas feels more like a regular 1/10 SC truck, but faster and a little different with the 4wd feel, but the Ofna drives more like an 1/8th scale, probably because it's based off of one. The Traxxas definitely has more mechanical steering, no two ways about it, the Ofna just doesn't cut the wheels in very much, but with the right kind of driving it's very fast and handles just about as good as the Sash.

How was the power with the Tekin compared to the stock traxxas electrics? What software on the Tekin? Do you have any platinum editions left Todd?

Oh Yeah! I brought in as many as I could. After we sell out what we've been able to get in we'll be over 50 sold. The truck is everything you'd hope it would be and the parts keep coming in so we should fully stocked soon.
